Dear Sameer,
Did you tell 6000+ sq.ft for school, colleges etc. ? Don't take that I'm discouraging your enthusiasm. This much of a plot is nothing to run a school to boast of. It could just accommodate few class rooms + toilets. You cannot have play grounds, assembly space etc. Imagine a decent class room should have a minimum of 1200 sq.ft floor area and thus you can have only 5 class rooms. Unless you construct skywards. I would suggest you to look for a plot/landed area of atleast 5 acres to house a all-in-one school with minimum facilities. All the best friend.

Dear Sameerzari,

I looked at your profile and your place is given as Ratnagiri, Tamilnadu. Others have made some valuable comments and have offered to help you. Your post lacks details and, hence, no one can give you any precise advice.

Please let me raise a few questions. What do you mean by "an educational hub"? I found some information on the web about an educational hub as follows "Education Hub: A designated region intended to attract foreign investment, retain local students, build a regional reputation by providing access to high-quality education and training for both international and domestic student, and create a knowledge-based economy. An education hub can include different combinations of domestic/international institutions, branch campuses, and foreign partnerships, within the designated region."

Kindly also give some information on your background: qualifications that you have have, access to funds, and whether you are stating to impart knowledge or make money, etc.

Dear Sameerzari,

You want to start educational hub in your native place. Good idea. It is a noble work. But mind well, it is not an easy job. You may have to face many hassles to start the project. Unless you have sound background - financial and political, it is very difficult to start educational hub.

You need to ensure following:

1. Formation of charitable trust duly registered. Most of the private educational institutes are run by charitable trust.

2. Minimum land required 2 acres for a school or a college. For hub, definitely more depending upon size of hub.

3. Registration of land in trust name.

4. Project report.

5. Estimation of budget for project.

6. Estimation of budget for first academic year and subsequent two minimum.

6. Permission from the government at different stages of project.

7. NOC from the state government before construction of school / college / education hub.

8. Affiliation from School Education Board, such as CBSE, ICSE or state Board. In case of College, affiliation from University. Approval and recognition from apex bodies such as in case of Engineering College - AICTE, Medical College - MCI, Dental College - DCI, etc.

9. Abide by the norms for the construction and physical infrastructure of school / college / hub.

I have a vision to be in Lok Kalyan Project like it in another three years of time. You can try for the possibility to join me in your project.
