Hello,
I badly need you guys help! My sister is studying B.tech and is in her last semester. As per her University she is required to do a six months training in any IT company. Her college got her a placement done for which the company (Location : Gurgaon, New delhi) says that they will absorb the trainee as employee after training completion. I believe something is seriously not right in that company. She is asked to report at 08:00 Hrs and is made to work until 19:30 hrs. Her friend once came late and was literally asked to leave the company. She is so disturbed these days. The company is actually pressurizing them and getting afraid from the training completion certificate nobody in her group is saying anything. Please advice how I can help her out...I would really appreciate any help...

Kartik,
I would suggest your sister to keep this scenario & discuss this with College Senior teachers, Moreover you can have a search for other companies too for training .. if she have just joined... coz Working for 12 hrs once, twice is ok ut that too for those employee who are just fresher is not applicable or appropriate. may be the nature of work in that organsation would be more on production support for which employee do extend & work for 11, 12 hrs.. if this is bareable for her then its ok as 6 mnths would just pass soon.

@RUNAL_JAGPAT- Yes Sir! This is what we have decided now as we do not have any choice only 3 months are now left to get the training completed and then after the employer has told to hire her as a permanent employee but we do not think we would stick to that company after training.
@HAZELCOMP- You are very correct on your part. This is actually the scenario in the job sector these days. I've met people who are struggling for jobs and are even to work long number of hours in office without any complaints...Thank You Again!
@ASHRAM12- Thanks! I'll forward your website info to her.
