Hi, I would like to know that, Is it compulsory to pay stipend to the internship candidates as per minimum wage act.

If it is part of the curriculum and is to be provided during the course duration, such as summer training, for shorter periods like weeks or months, there is no need to pay wages. If the interns are engaged after completing their course, they are entitled to a stipend as per the Apprentice Act 1961.
