Yes we do have a clear leave policy. And it does say that we must en cash the PL to the employee. I just wanted to know if there is any specific law about PL/ EL encashment or not?

Hi.....
As such there is no any separate or specific Acts, Rules or Regulations as far as leave encasement or PL is concerned. The establishments which are covered under applicable enactments shall follow the respective Acts and Rules. If it is under Shops and Est then please refer respective acts and if it is factory then refer the factory act. The eligibility criteria of PL or EL of all acts are same as there is no deviation in the procedures against statutory leaves.
