Hello Sir/Madam,

I am a student of HR and in the final year of my course. So now I will be facing the interview. Can anyone tell me what kind of questions can be expected in interviews? Also, I am a Computer Engineer, so can anyone tell me whether it will help in the future in my job? Your views on this will be of high importance to me.

Awaiting a reply,

Hi Amit,

I am a student of HR in the final year of my course. So now I will be facing the interview. Can anyone tell me what kind of questions can be expected in interviews? I am a Computer Engineer, so can anyone tell me whether it will help me in my future job?

The first question they would ask you is why you have chosen HR over systems or Marketing since you are a computer engineer? How would your degree in Computer Engineering help you in this profession? What are your career goals and your vision of yourself in 2020? Why should we hire you? Of course, there will be typical questions on your understanding of the fundamentals of HR principles and SWOT.

Coming to your second query - it's best answered when you think from your heart and assess your own potential and capabilities rather than clichés borrowed from others.

Best wishes,
Rajat Joshi
