Hi All,

I needed information on Form 3A. I was working in X company from June 2005 to January 2007. I quit the company with proper notice period. However, they have still not processed my PF.

With the consent of the Finance department of the company, I asked for PF withdrawal forms. They gave me Form 10C, Form 19, and Form 3A (only for the year 2006-2007). When I asked them for Form 3A for 2005-2006, they said it has already been submitted to the PF department.

Will I get my complete PF from the years 2005-2007? Please respond to this. I need help.

Thanks in advance,
Shilpi

Hi,

As per the PF Act, 3A is the only statement that shows our current year contribution details. The yearly period, according to the PF Act, is from March to February of every year, and you are required to submit the yearly return in the middle of April. If your company has already submitted the return, then there is no need to submit the 3A.

M. Sandeep

Hey, Form 3A is the annual deduction made by the company from your salary, which is in turn submitted to the PF dept. Form 19, 10C are for EPS and EPF withdrawal.

My suggestion will be that you go to the PF office directly and get the form; it's much easier. Do remember that your PF amount should match the company's contribution. If there is any deviation found, then the process will not be done immediately. It is better to seek help from your company's HR, or alternatively, copy the amount from your salary slip. Think about it.

Hi Anisha,

I submitted my PF withdrawal forms to the PF office, but they have been returned stating they need form 3A for the year 09-10. I am unsure about this form and whether I need to fill it out and send it to the PF office or if my office needs to handle it. Can you please assist me with this?

Thank you.
