Competency Mapping is a sort of a model or a format of competency which consists of all the required competencies and abilities of a person to perform a particular job or role. There are different kinds of competencies like generic or behavioural, managerial, and technical/functional competencies. These categories are mapped based on the organizational requirements and its current and future projections.
I could provide you with a brief description as I'm running short of time.
