Dear Seniors,
I am currently handling the HR and Payroll of my comoany which is into retail sector....
All these years we were employing the employees on our company Payroll itself. We have employees working in different cities of the country.
Now the Management has decided to outsource the employees(other than Head Office Employees) to a third party payroll company, who needs to recruit, and retain the employees by talking care of all the statutory areas like PF ,ESI etc...But the selection of the candidates is left to our company, once the third party comapny screens and sends the candidates.
now , my question is, what is the procedure to get started with the same, as I am very new to this.
kindly help me out.

Dear Sushil,
Many companies provide this services. Eg: Team Lease etc
Factors to be considered while shortlisting the Outsourcing Partner
* Whether they are providing the same services alike your industry (Retail Sector)
* Online website - check to authenticate the information
* Quote on Commercials part
* Ask for reference
* Identify the competitive advantage factors - from the pool of applicants ( Like online salary slips for employees, online database etc )
The process requires a through thought on aligning vendors to your expected services.

Sunil

Dear Mr Sunil,
Thank you for your valuable feedback,,,,,
Now, I have one more question....
ie, If an employee is taken on contract basis, whether he is entitled to have the statutory benefits like ESI , PF etc?
also, what is the maximum period that the contract can be done, also for how many times the contract can be renewed?

Dear Sushilendra,
As you are outsourcing your manpower for the first time, check for charges comparison with the different manpower agencies and pick the best out of it (You can find these agencies from net), As you are new in this field of out sourcing your HR, go for 1 year contract, it will give you positives and negatives of outsourcing of HR, accordingly you can take decisions.
