One of our employee resigned her job Dec 2012. We mentioned in PF ECR file as exit. She is rejoining on 7-2-2013 . Kindly guide me , How i rejoin her into PF using that old PF account.

Dear Vasantha,
I advise you to issue a new PF number with the new join date. Deduct PF on the joining date. You can do one thing: fill up a withdrawal form and withdraw PF or fill Form 13 for a transfer from the old account to the new account.

Hope she has not withdrawn the PF so far. On rejoining, you can give the same (old) PF number to her and process her joining with Form 5 marked with the old PF number allotted to her. The gap of two months will be treated as a non-contributory period.
