excel file is good and useful but there is a little correction needed. since the date of birth is required to calculate the age hence the column you mention (c) date of joining should be corrected to date of birth.
this file can be used for calculating gratuity since the date of joining is mentioned.

The best way to calculate the date and days for a new joinee is mentioned below. Please use the below mentioned formulae in excel. Whenever you open the file, the current date along with the updated days will be shown in the data. You will not need to carry out any calculations:
Name of Employee Date of Joining Date (Current) Days (Current)
XYZ 25-Jul-2016 =Today() =Today()/365
