Hi friends/sirs, this is Raamz. I have completed my MBA in HR, and I am a fresher. I was recently selected as an HR in a hospital, and my joining date is on February 1st. They have informed me to run payroll for the month of January after joining. I am a little tense about this. Can anyone please guide me step-by-step? Are there any useful documents for core HR functions such as payroll, recruitment, employee relations, and HR manuals that you could send or attach?
Thank you,
Raamz

Learning About Payroll
To learn about payroll, you have to work on it after joining your company. You may, however, search for 'EmpXtrack' on the web and go through their payroll module. You will surely get some answers to the queries in your mind. Also, read the blog 'Talent Junction,' which has some articles on payroll.
In case your company is already using some payroll software, you need to interact with the service provider or read their training manual (which must have been provided to your company).
