Hi, I would like to know that, Is it compulsory to pay stipend to the internship candidates as per minimum wage act.

If it is part of curriculam and to be provided in between of the course duration like summer training traning etc for shorter periods, say weeks or month, there is no need to pay wages. If the interns are engaged after completion of their course, they are entitled for stip[end as per Apprentice Act 1961.
