Hi!!
Hope you all doing well
I am a MBA-HR student now working in a recruitment company in pharma vertical & having 9 months of experience. Although every thing is going in well & just after 5 months of joining I get my individual accounts. Now I am directly dealing with the clients & handling a team of 3 members.
Still I am not satisfied with this core recruitment profile & not getting chance to get into the core HR profile.I am in a confused situation that should I continue with the Job in which I am not finding a long term association or should I took a break to continue my studies
I request you all to give your valuable suggestion for the same.

Good Day,
If you complete your studies or get master degree that will be the Plus Point for your future, you will get best oppurtunity. Regarding your present job its seems good as you handling cleint directly and have 3 members under. Yes I agree regarding self satisfaction on Job. So if you feel that present job not as per your will, then there will be no choice either to Quit. And If your financial status is not good then kindly continue and also continue your studies accordingly.
Kindly consider that Present job will add your expereince in Resume's, which will sure work for you near in future.
Thanks,

Thanks for your reply.
I have already done my masters in HR. As my intrest level is concern I am looking for a opportunity in HR with some company. I don't want to work with consultancy. My experience in recruitment will not be considered for Core HR profile in any company that's why I am confused either to carry on with the same job or to quit.
Because this time if i will get chance as a HR trainee in any company i will be able to start but after having more than 1 year experience it will be difficult ti start as a trainee, because for the generalist profile they will nt consider this experience.

Hi Dev
But please suggest me how to get chance into core HR becuse all the positions I m getting that is for recruiter only not a single call for core HR profile.
Please do suggest something as you people are the experienced one in HR field, so more aware of market trends that a recruiter can get a chance in core HR or not.
It's my request to all CiteHR members that please suggest me in this issue or should I change my line to academics because don't want to continue in consultancy any how

hi vineetha
i also had the same situation. so i can understand your problem very well.i had worked almost 7 months in a consultancy and i had faced the same problems which your are facing now.so i will suggest you quit that job as your not getting any satisfaction in it. i resigned from my former company and now working in a IT company as assistant hr manager. So be optimisic. could you pls tell what type of recruitments is your consultancy doing? If they are doing both IT AND Non IT you can use their vacancy information for your job search.
with best wishes

Hi dear
You should continue with your job, if you want to study further you can continue after getting an experience of atleast 1 year so next time you apply for any other job you will be an experience holder applicant.
Good Luck!
