Dear All,
I require more clarification on above said topic.
1) If the employee resign in May 2012 do we need to still continue his contribution till year ending of PF (February) & ESI (September) quarterly or we can stop payment.
2)Is it true that the ESI department has not taken ESI annual return documents of 2011-2012 or do we need to submit online only.
3) In PF e sewa do we upload every month all employee details or no need of uploading.
4) Is it difficult to handle PF & ESI without giving to consultant.

Hi Sheela
1) If the employee resign in May 2012 then you can't continue his contribution. His PF should be only till May 2012.
ESI contributionis till that half year. Its not quarter.
2) ESI returns has to be filled every half year. Now it is no need to file. But you shall file it online.
3)In PF E-Seva you should give EPF Number, Name and contributions of all the employees for every month and other details like DOB, DOJ, Fathers Name, Gender, Relationship, should be given only at that particular month of joining and Date of leaving and reason should be given only when employee leaves.
4) It is not so difficult to handle PF & ESI without giving to consultant. Earlier there were manual returns. So indtead of viditing the offices they use to give it to the consultants. Now as things are gettting online you shall do online. But make sure as you should file all the returns on time and with proper contribution.

Hi ,
Kindly can anyone clarify regarding PF do we need to update every month the employee details in monthly returns? how we can show the LOP of half day eg:25.5 worked remaining 4.5days is LOP how we can show this.

Hi Sheela PF ECR will not accept those values. Round it off for nearing full day. You should consider LOP for 4 Days only.

Ohh. I believe as already we had discussed about the same topic some times back. Then what you can do is make it as arrears and pay by next month.

Hi,
Jeevarathnam P
I have one doubt regarding arrears. In PF monthly e-return arrears column we need to mention only pf contribution (12%) amount or arrears wage ( basic+DA). For eg:If Mr. X revives Rs.5000/-( PF Rs.600/-) as April wage but after filing PF return the management decided to increase his basic to Rs.6000/- (Pf Rs720/-) should we need to put in May PF monthly e-return arrears column Rs.120/-(Rs.720 - Rs.600) or Rs.1000/-(Rs.6000-Rs.5000) kindly guide me in this.

Hi Jeevarathanm,
Thank you for your guidance.

In Monthly e-return there are 3 column ARR EE share, ARR ER Share and ARR PEN SHARE. In these columns it wont take automatically do we need to enter manually.
I have one more doubt regarding ESI now the same employee wont come under ESI coverage but we have already made the payment before paying him arrears salary do we require to pay till September or can we stop paying and intimating department regarding arrears pay.
