The government has decided that in the case of missing employees/pensioners, family pension may be granted to the next eligible member in the family after six months from the date of filing an FIR, subject to terms and conditions prescribed from time to time in this regard. The prescribed Indemnity Bond has also been modified suitably. A copy of the communication in this regard is attached for information.

I think it's not applicable to employees covered by EPS 1995 or before that, as it's clearly mentioned that Administrative departments/ministries, etc., mean government bodies. I may be wrong. Could someone please clarify it?
