Hi swathiudhay,
I think you should look for more opportunities for HR HR generalist/ Payroll executive.
First of all you should find HR generalist/ Payroll executive job and then with time you learned many things.
You should read more & more articles related to payroll & HR.

Dear Swatiuday,
You will get definitely more exposure in generalist HR profile rather than getting into HR payroll. Payroll is one part of HR whereas generalist HR comprises all HR activities from entry to exit.
But at the same time you must decide yourself which role interests you more and then definitely look for a job into that role.
Try for some smaller organizations. They may consider your profile based on the fact that you have 4 yrs of experience in recruitments.
Best of luck!
