Kindly suggest how an HR manager should calculate the attrition rate for his company. What exactly is an LPO, and how should a new HR manager start or define his role to create an impact in the very beginning?

Hello,
The attrition rate is calculated based on the available manpower and the number of resigned employees in the month. The formula is:
Attrition Rate = Number of Resigned / Available Manpower * 100
For example, if in the previous month the manpower was 100, and during that month 10 employees resigned and 20 were recruited, the available manpower would be 100 - 10 + 20 = 110. Therefore, the attrition rate would be:
Attrition rate = 10 / 110 * 100
I hope this clarifies the calculation for you.
