Recruitment is the process of discovering the right person for the anticipated position. If you say recruitment is an activity, recruiting is the process for that. If you identified the right person for a position and you have hired him, then we say that a person has been recruited for the position.

Recruitig - Doesn't exist
Recruiting - is used in present/past continuous tense
Recruited - is used in past tense.

Manpower Planning: is the process of identifying the right person for the right job at the right time. Manpower Planning is also known as Human Resource Planning or Staffing.

Recruitment is attracting a pool of candidates to apply for the job in esteemed organizations.

Selection is a negative process where you try to find out whether the prospective candidate is actually fit for the job or not.
