1. Check the current ongoing T&D practices in the automobile industry. Try to understand the type of work this industry is involved in, the kind of manpower they require (skilled, unskilled, semi-skilled), and then analyze the type of T&D the workforce needs.
2. Select a few automobile companies to study their T&D programs. Compare the different T&D approaches in various automobile companies. Additionally, you can conduct a survey among the employees of these automobile companies to gather insights on the training they receive and their preferences for future training programs.

Your posts were so interesting that I wished to compliment you on the same. They were most excellently communicative, clarifying exactly what one requires to know. One small point I did wish to make, though: amongst the major roles as adopted by the HR, especially if we were to define a generalist's role, the four important ones that we HR professionals need to clarify are Recruitment (leading to) Allocation of the Resource (leading to) T&D (to ensure that the resource grows with the company) and finally Retention, in which, yet again, Training plays a networked role. Could you please clarify further?
