I have some querries.. Is MBTI Used for selection process and anybody can use it without certification coz it needs certification as per my knowledge.
I am very much interested for these tests mentioned by u.. pls give me some info regarding this.. i wud be glad.. i have attended MBTI Training for a day. and i was impressed. i m also looking for a trainer on thsi.. if u can help me out..
Firstly Hargovind, MBTI and FIRO-B are not designed for selection decisons. Please visit Myers Briggs foundation web site for the caution on this. (I personally know in India and UK where people are using these instruments for selection and the after effects as well!) It is untethical and irresponsible behavior!
If you need selction tools which have a high reliability of .78 or above as recommended by BPS, you can use 15FQPlus, Occupational Personality Profiling, Sales Preference Inventory and ability tests like GRT1&2, ART, TTB, etc which I am distributing in India.
