New employee orientation is very important in each and every organization. It can be achieved by providing activities that encourage employees to interact with each other. Additionally, on-the-job training plays a key role in facilitating this process easily, in my opinion.

Suggestions for New Employee Orientation
Please consider the following suggestions:
1. Design the content to suit the emotional level of the new joiners. If your joiners can be categorized as freshers, laterals, and seniors, plan accordingly.
2. Add anecdotes from the teams they would work with to motivate them to work better.
3. Arrange for leadership addresses on day one as it has the most impact. The new joiner would be glad to hear from a visionary, including the Director, center head, business head, etc.
4. Bring in a top performer to speak for a few minutes to showcase the levels they can achieve.
5. If your company is multi-location and your organizational heads are located far from the induction center, arrange for a video and a short Skype call if possible.
Running through your presentation would require support from real-time experiences. So, get these effective speakers to address.

Induction & Orientation Planning
The detailed induction and orientation of all newly joined employees should be planned at least once a month. Orientation helps employees feel at ease in the new organization and assists them in becoming acquainted with the organization, its people, policies, and work environment.
In other words, it boosts their morale on the job and consequently results in dedication and improved performance.
