Sir, Before two weeks i submit my resignation to my company mail. Till now there is no responce from theire end.What to do and how can i releave from the company Senthil Kumar

Hi Senthil
You had submitted your resignation to whom, when and how much notice is there as per your appointment letter.
Kindly clarify the points. If you had submitted your resignation to HR or your HOD then you must have the copy of that.................... how much notice period you had given and when you had asked to be relieved from your duties.
Accordingly you can visit HR deptt. for clearance.

Im Sorry Senthil but the job you have done, its not done by the proper way/procedure. You must go to your supervisor first and give it to him/her your resignation personally by hard copy and tell him/her that you are not willing to continue your job with some reason and until then i dont think your supervisor will accept it, As you havent mentioned your actual situation here that you are still working with the organization or running on leave these days.
After offering of your resignation to the employer, you will be serving on notice period and it will be according to the rule of your employment contract/ offer letter or (15days to 1 month Maxm.) And your exit clearance will be done with in a month of your resignation according to the procedure /rule of HR deptt.

Hi senthil, to whom u handover ur resignation in hr, if u r not getting any kind of responce in such case u can forward ur resignation through mail wid ur notice period, to concerned person in hr and cc to ur immediate boss.

I would have appreciated a more detailed question from your side.

Ideally the following should have been the procedure for tendering your resignation:-

1. Check your status of employment i.e are you a probationer / confirmed employee
2. Check the notice clause in your appointment letter, that may be applicable to your employment status with the organisation
3. The date of the resignation letter is considered for the calculation of the notice period
3.Tender your resignation letter (hardcopy) to your immediate reporting manager and get an acknowledgement from him on a copy of the same resignation letter.

Incase, the aforesaid process is completed, it is the duty of the organisation to come back to you and state the status of your resignation as to whether it has been accepted or rejected. Incase, you do not receive any response from their end till the expiry of your notice period, as per several Supreme Court judgements, it is deemed that your resignation has been accepted and hence there is no need for you to report for duty after the expiry of your notice period. I hope I have answered your question.

Resignation by mail is ok when it is sent from official id and you attend office every day waiting for the relief.But yours looks different.Please write a confirmation letter and send it by Speed Post with POD and then definitely you will get the response.
