Nowdays,Companies are sending CTC breakup first then offer.
In such case,i need to be sure about salary.
I mean which component do i consider in CTC Breakup.
Can you please guide me regarding this?

in my company we calculate CTC in the following breckups
consider gross 10000
Gross = Basic 6000+ HRA 2000+ CCA1000 + conveyance allowanve 1000 = 10000/-
Deduction = Employess contribution to PF 720+ Employee contribution to ESIC 175+ Professional Tax 175 = 1070
Net Pay = Take home salary = 8930/- (10000-1070=8930)
CTC = {Other benifits (Contribution of employer to PF 720 + Contribution of employer to ESIC 475 +bonus 500 + Gratuity 250) +net pay 8930/-} for per month
so that CTC for per year will be 11945/- * 12 =143340/- / year
That is really in details.

DOes it also comes in Take home? or Is there any kind of proof submission needed for medical allowance on monthly basis?
some BIG companies add medical allowance and special allowance in the monthly gross and give tax benifits on it after submiting the proof ,some companies do not mension it in monthly gross.

I had been into this confusion for years, and then I came across a very good blog post about take home calculation - all you have to do is download the excel sheet, enter you offer letter breakup, get your take home calculated in mins. That's it!
I am using this excel sheet whenever I do job hops, and for salary negotiation.
