What was in your mind when you thought of this particular topic, "Ethics in Performance Appraisal"? You must have thought about certain things regarding this like, why appraisals are not just and fair? Why do seniors get biased? Why do personal relationships (between a senior and a subordinate) affect professional relationships in performance appraisal, etc.? The answers will come from your point of view. Archana has given you some pointers. I will not give any ideas but raise a few questions. Why are you doing that project? What do you mean by "questions or something in this regard"? What are you doing and where? If a student, then what course are you on, where, and studying in which mode? If the research is for your final project, where do you intend to do your study? Have you not got a tutor guide in your institution that is supposed to give you directions and help? Have you attended the Research Methodology module? If not, please search for Research Methodology and see my post at CiteHr; it contains a PowerPoint presentation on that topic.
I raise questions before giving answers for two reasons: one, to get the scenario clarified to enable me to give the correct advice; two, to enable the person seeking answers to help themselves first and then post a draft response and seek help to improve it.
This is what my friend wrote when he saw a similar response of mine. " Your responses are crisp and to the point. It is good to ask questions so the person can find the response from within for his/her situation. I am certain even this questioning would have helped the person".
