Dear Murali,

Nowadays, the format has totally changed. HR professionals now mainly emphasize your objective and related experience, and correlate it with your extracurricular activities. Avoid the traditional format.

Don't believe for a second that there is only one "right way" of framing your resume.

Dear Murali,

I fully agree with Rinku's comments. One needs to be more objective-oriented. Recently, I was on an interview panel where a question like this was asked, "Everybody does have strong and weak points. Strong points will bring positivity, whereas weaknesses could add negativity. How are you going to minimize the corporate loss due to your weak points if we hire you?" Frankly speaking, hardly anybody could answer. This highlights objectivity.
