Dear Simhan.. Thanks for your post. would you be able to help me out wit more specific details since i already have the questionnaire. What i require to know is whether a yer or no answer is sufficient to each question or a wider scale is required. If i were to collect samples from about 40 employees, how do i analyse the the samples. I would be greatful if you could help me out with specific studies / sites.. I would also appreciate it if you could recommend a good book for 'Employee Engagement'. Thanks in Advance.

Dear Mitra,
Yes or No answers for surveys are not enough. At MBA level you need to exhibit that you can collect comprehensive data and apply statistical tests. Have you undergone any course on Research Methods or Methodology? Have you studied all the material available at the site that I gave a link to?
Please also search CiteHr for various posts on Research Methodology. Sorry, I do not give answers on-a-plate, but raise a lot of questions to make students think for themselves.

Its not correct to use Gallup Questions as they have designed these questions after lot of survey/ studies spead over a long time and such have a copy right on these. You can always devise your own questions depending on your needs and areas you intend focussing.

Thanks Vijay for your comments.
Gall up survey questions can be used with their permission. They will usually agree to students using the questions. No doubt the wordings can be changed and due credit given to the source.
