Hi Experts,
I am writing from Bangalore. I left my previous job and had applied for the PF withdrawal. The company says it had submitted my withdrawal form to the PF office on 30-Nov-09. I called up the PF office, but they say it's still under process. Please help me in estimating the time to get my money, and I want to know if there is a way to find out the balance or the total amount which will be paid. The PF official website does not work.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi, as Hervinder said, you should visit your regional PF commissioner's office or write a letter under the RTI Act to the concerned department to know your PF balance and the proceeding of repayment. Under RTI, you even have the right to ask for correspondence copies of what your previous organization and PF office have done as an open-source.
If the problem persists, you can lodge a complaint at [Grievance Redress Mechanism in Government](http://www.pgportal.gov.in) and provide details, then wait to get results. Furthermore, you can contact a local advocate or PF commission agent who can guide you on how to get relief.
