Hi All,
I am to prepare a skeleton of an appropriate performance appraisal system for teachers specifically in schools.
Can I expect some tips and guidelines from all the experienced HR personnel?

hi satghosh advice is that u have to assess the performance based on the result basis or character basis or core competency basis based in that u have to create a appraisal sheet

Thank you very much Satheesh for your advice. I was thinking on the same lines and have structured a scale checklist which has various headings like
Adherance to KRAs
Soft skills
Student-teacher compatibility ratio
Extra Curricular activities
Behavioral Parameters
Then i have attached 100 points to each heading. Now depending upon the score a teacher will be rated. However it will change for non-teaching staff.
I hope this should suffice.
