Respected Members,

I am new to filling out performance appraisal forms. I believe that the use of "Language" plays a significant role in completing these forms. Could anyone advise me on how impressive a self-assessment form should be from an employee's perspective? It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could provide valuable tips on completing the forms and the key words/areas to focus on. I look forward to your replies! :)

Thanks and kind regards,
Radha

Hi, Radha,
As a manager , it is important to understand the strengths and weaknesses of your employees, on the basis of their attributes or actual performance for the appraisel year, is more important than the language is to be used for. Their abilities provide you information to choose the right group or person to get the job done. You must know what is the the employee end result. Appraisal should always be in positive language on the basis set critaria following are the examples you can use .
Ø The employee is the top performer of the company.
Ø Have a learning attitude.
Ø Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a penchant for creativity and innovation.
Ø A deep-rooted sense of honesty and integrity.
Ø An orientation towards organizational processes.
Ø A performance driven, goal orientation.
Ø Highly systems competent.
Ø Understanding of other functions.
Ø A good communicator and better listener.
Ø Sensitivity towards cross-cultural diversity.
