Hi All, I want to know, Is there any provision in PF contribution that we can exempt a new employee. whose salary is 11000(Basic+DA). He is not intersted in PF contibution. Regards Prasad

An employee whose salary (basic + DA) at the time of joining is exempted from EPF. However, if he had earlier been a member and had not withdrawn the PF accumulations, then he has to continue with the schemes. Regards, Madhu.T.K

Thanks Mr Madhu T.K. He has withdrawn previous PF amount with past employer. Now he joined newly with us, he wants to stay in onroll for tax exemption but not intersted for Pf Contribution Is it Possible. Regards Prasad

dear prasad his basic +da is more than 6500 and he comes in the definition of exempted employee.if he has withdrawn earlier PF need not make him member again. regards js malik

Plz tell me in which PF Act and its Section it is mentioned that PF ceiling amount is 6500 and it depend on the company whether if an employee salary is more than 6500, they will deduct his PF contribution or not
