I think they offer Live Onsite and E-learning classes for those outside the United States. Their fees are reasonable, and you will have access to their SAP application server for 90 days after graduation. I'm not sure, but I think they have a special package for students residing in India.
I attended their training course for SAP HR in six weeks, and they placed me for a job 2 weeks after graduation. Isn't that great! 😂 Give them a shot. 847-205-2551.

Hi Everybody,
You can learn SAP-HR at Siemens, where the teaching is excellent. The center is located in Chennai. They provide instruction on the technical aspects of each module of SAP. This program costs around Rs. 2.5 lakhs. If you are looking to learn SAP only as a user, there are many coaching centers available that will cost you around Rs. 15,000.
Hope this information is helpful for all of you.

Lakshmi

Hi Amit,
I am a student. I've just finished my undergraduate degree in B.Com. I am very keen on HR and want to explore the various aspects of it. I find the SAP-ERP course very amusing, but I have very vague information about it so far.
Please email me at sanjana.sriram@gmail.com as I would like input from someone experienced. I am planning to take up my MBA or work for a year. When should I start my course and from where? Please suggest valuable links that could provide me with more information.

Hi Sanoop, welcome. Sorry, I don't have any idea regarding the same, but yes, definitely some of the Institutes would be there.
Hello Monica,
Welcome. Sorry, but I don't have any idea about the Siemens SAP course.
In my view, it would be better if you enroll yourself in learning SAP after gaining some experience in the relevant field. This way, you will be able to understand the exact functions of Human Resources. The SAP Course helps you learn how to work on the HR module of the SAP application, i.e., ERP application.

Dear Monica,
With reference to your email, I can give you one suggestion. Rather than doing this course as a fresher with no experience, this will only be an additional certificate but not much else. If you gain a little experience in any of the core parts of HR like:
1) recruitment
2) time office management
3) wage and salary administration
4) statutory
5) performance management, etc.
Then it will be worth doing SAP HR. I will suggest only one thing; first of all, select in which line you want to go in HR, i.e., recruitment or into core HR, etc.
First, decide and gain at least 2 years of experience, then plan to join this course, that too full-time. I wish you all the best for your bright career.

Hello Sai Prashad,
Thank you for your valuable information, Sir. I have decided to gain experience along with SAP training on weekends. Life moves fast today, and after leaving college, I miss my studies. That's the reason I asked: Can't I do this course before getting a job? But I understand that with experience in core HR, I can better understand today's scenarios in this course. ERP is just a database that records the information of all employees right from the beginning, including recruitment, appraisals, promotions, compensation details, etc.
I also want to ask you, why do freshers of MBA(HR) generally get jobs in recruitment only and not in compensation? I completed 2 months of summer training in compensation and benefits survey, so I am looking for a job in this field. I know both are parts of HR, but it's a query I want to clarify. I generally receive calls for recruitment profiles only.
Regards,
Monica

Dear Monica,
Good Morning,
Who said that you don't get a job in core HR?
Training for 2 months will not give you great experience. Firstly, start your career in any of the core HR areas, even if it is time office management. Gain an overall experience in all the core components, be thorough in Labour Laws, delve into salary calculation, allowances, and deductions, etc. Participate in training programs you conduct training programs.
Then, you can shift to your interested side of HR.
I do suggest you, once again, don't go for SAP on a part-time basis.
Regards,
Sai
