Yes, you have to fill out Form 19 and 10C for PF withdrawal, whether your company exists or not. Alternatively, you can transfer the funds to another PF account within your current company if you have one. Remember, you must receive the amount in an account, not in cash.

If your company no longer exists, you can seek assistance from the bank manager of the bank where your salary account was held at that time. However, for all these processes, you need to have your PF account number handy.

Dear Vikas,

You can withdraw the complete PF amount, which includes both PF (3.67% of employer's contribution) and the Pension scheme amount - 8.33% of the employer's contribution. You can submit PF forms 19 and 10c duly filled and signed by your employer to the concerned PF office. If your total service period is less than 9 years and 6 months, then you can withdraw both the PF and Pension amounts. If it is more than 9 years and 6 months, you can only withdraw the PF amount. The pension amount will then be payable at retirement age. In the case of withdrawal, the employer's stamp and signature are a must.

Thanks,
Gunjan
