Internal tools are generally created by software developers on the bench who are not accessible when the tool requires upgrading or has a bug. On the other hand, a proper recruitment management software involves serious efforts and inputs from HR managers and experts and is solely created with the recruiter's work and challenges in mind. Then why do some companies still prefer an internal tool over sophisticated recruitment software?

Hi Poushali,
This is in reference to your question. I need to know why most companies prefer a clumsy internal recruitment tool over a sophisticated recruitment management software. First of all, I want to tell you that you have chosen a very good question according to the current scenario.
There are many reasons, but some of them are:
1) Companies want to reduce the costs that occur in the complete/sophisticated process.
2) Internal recruitments help companies easily trust the new employee to the company (Reference).
3) It saves time.
Please reply about my inputs.
Thanks,

Hi Kamini,
Thank you for responding. I do agree with your first reason that internal recruitment tools seem cost-effective. However, the second one, I guess, is not relevant because we are discussing a tool and not employee referrals. The third reason is the most interesting and intriguing. I want to know how a clumsy internal recruitment tool would save your time.
Thanks,
Poushali
