Hi, My Employer is deducting Provident fund from my Salary (both my share and his own share) but is not deposting the amount deducted into my Provident Fund account. What can be done to rectify this??

First of all the employer is not expected to deduct his share of contribution from employee's salary. Secondly, ensure that the employer does not deposit the PF amounts deducted. If you are sure that PF is not remitted, the PF authorities are to take action. If you file a complaint the matter will be taken up by the authorities. Approach the Regional/ Sub Regional office to which you are attached. Regards, Madhu.T.K
