Hi everyone,

I am new to this website and am finding the topics very helpful in my day-to-day job. I am the office manager of a newly set-up business and have to produce an induction & office procedure manual for new employees. Would appreciate ideas or copies of manuals from anyone for me to go through. Have a great afternoon.

For the ideal Induction Manual, what you need to do is just make a do's and don'ts list of your company and decide about all the areas you need to cover. Make sure that the Induction Manual is sufficient to cover all the points related to the company, and to the extent possible, it should be an exact replica of your company.

It should contain the following mandatory points regarding:
- Company Introduction
- Organization Chart
- HR Policy
- Shifts
- Attendance
- Leave
- Dress Code
- Documentation
- Disciplinary Action

Also, include other aspects depending on the nature of the company.
