Nirbhay Singh
Hi All,
I am persuing MBA degree(Full time) in HR. I am in MBA 3rd sem. Along with my studies I am also working with one of the top most BPOs.I have 2 and half years of experience with this organisation.
I have resigned from my Job so that I can concentrate on my studies and can score well in 3rd and 4th Sem.
My manager suggested me not to resign at this time because of recession. Management team also asked me to take leaves for exams. But along with job I can't score well in my exams so I decided to quit.
My exams will be over in the month of May 2009. The Placements are also not good in my college.
Will I be able to find job after May 2009 if I score well in exams?
Will my career get impacted by recession?
Have I taken right decission to quit?
Want suggetions from seniors becoz I am feeling depressed.
Thanks and Regards

Dear Mr. Singh,
Greetings !!!!!!!!
I dont think you have taken a right decision :(.
How much can you score in your exams after leaving the company? May be 8 to 10 more percentage....right?
but will that gained percentage gets you a job is a very big question?
More over you said you are wkng for a BPO, but as what ? if that is a technical support or customer executive, then you have made a right choice, because i guess your career interest is into HR.....:-D
But if you are a part of HR in the BPO, then you made a big mistake, its very difficult to get a job in HR these days.....
If you want you can get into any BPO's, that will not have much effect with the recession. So dont worry..........
but let us know, what u worked as ????? so tat we can guide you in a proper direction.
Thanks,
Kiran Kumar
