Hi Pooja,
What is the size of your company in terms of headcount?.We had faced the same problem in the past.We have around 600 employees, around 500 of them are on fields
Make a attendance format and send the same to the team leaders asking them to fill up the attendance status of their team members and send it to you on weekly basis(Fix a day) tell them frankly, failure to send the attendance sheet on time will be marked as absent for the entire team.

Hi Pooja,
They have to feel responsible and they have to send daily report of attendance, If they are not sending properly, you have to cut the salary of them, as Hr we have to maintain good relation and some times we have to go as per rules and regulations.

Hi Pooja,
Devendra here from Intelliob Technologies.
We are a product based company specialised in HR product.
As i am from Sales, i am suggesting you and not trying to sale my product.
I will suggest you to go for a Web Based HRIS or Payroll.
As it is a Web based they can mark their attendace Online, Apply for Leave, Loan, Advance, and according to that you can have an Intime, Outtime, Overtime of an Employee.
If they don't do it deduct their salaries.
Now you also have a reason why you have deducted their salaries and the Employeer will be in your favour.
With Best Regards,
Devendra Singh

Pooja, i think a Written warning Notice, will act very good. I have done this in my company. Employees coming late to work, have been given, Wanring notices, and then onwards are coming on time. In the same way you can issue them a strict warning letters, to send you the attendance record.
then every one will fall in place.

Geeta
