There are lots in many large and emerging companies, the amount of effort you take in learning is what matters. No one can be an expert in SAP, but one can only benchmark the best. So learning of SAP doesn't ends once you get the job.
But for getting job there are few predefined expected question, which one need to concentrate for initial entry. After getting job, for career growth one can go to the deeper extent. If any further queries on SAP.

For securing job on SAP-HR platform, one needs to have atleast one end-end project experience coupled with MBA-HR. This is the hard reality. I suggest that those who are trying for entry into this platform, should check for these two prerequisites.

It is not even worthwhile to think of doing SAP-HR unless you have at least 2 years of solid HR Generalist experience behind you, and that too, in some good Company.
Secondly: Which is the best institute for SAP-HR???
There are lots and lots of institutes in every nook and cranny in every city trying to lure people.....but the hard fact of the matter is that only the SAP-HR from Siemens is considered valid in the job market.
So......your prospects of getting a break in SAP HR would be better if you do it from Siemens,but.....
be ready to shell out 3 lakhs for the same :-)

I am also interested in doing SAP-Hr. The following information I gathered from some of the SAP trainers.
I. If the institute is certified one, then to learn SAP HR daily 8 hrs (200 hrs) cost around 3-4 lakhs (including taxes). You will be given global recognition after successful completion of the said course.
II. If you go online e-learning one 200 hrs for 5 months, it is also having same value but it may be between 1-2 lakhs (inclusive of taxes).
In both the cases, you will be focused to real time projects and training is given by certified professionals.
III. Now-a-days so many institutes offering for 20,000 also. But you will be not getting real time projects nor that certificate is also not much recognised. Again we have to give some fake experience certificates.
So, my dear friends I hope this information may be useful.

I understand that i must ideally have an experience of 2-3 years...however as i am a fresher and quite keen at SAP HR, how much sense is there in doing a not so good course (like that from Siemens) but a local course which is also cheaper to have an understanding of SAP and later with experience to go for international certification?
I'd also like to know if these other courses like the ones available online and local one provide certification and good projects?
Hope im not sounding too naive...
