Dear Friends,
Here is I posted and article for a New Executives who joind in the rank of a managerial cadre. It is guide for them. How to maintain the good office.
"Managing people can be an experience that makes you feel really good about yourself - as long as you understand that it's not a tidy, orderly, prdictable business. Flexibility and maturity will come in handy. So does a dose of good natured humor that brightens everyone's day".
This may be useful for all new HR-Executives.
THIS ARTICLE IS DEDICATED TO ALL NEWLY HR-EXECUTIVES / MANAGERS WHO JOINED IN THE FIELD

PBS KUMAR

Respected sir, that is really helpfull information. Can I bother you with this querryMy organisation is Public Ltd. Co., Share holdings by Govt. Financial Institutions. My query is regarding PFUptill now we were hiring people on contract / training for 3 months. On sucessful completion they are absorbed on probation for period of one year and then they are confirmed. As of now I have in all 23 staff (9 confirmed employees 7 probationers and 6 trainees and 1 contract person)We want to introduce PF. Whether it is mandatory to extend PF benefit to Probationers also. We will not extend it to trainees caus in their letter it is clearly mentioned :2. Your employment in the company will be for the purpose of the company's work which is purely temporary and of casual nature and will be on a temporary basis initially for a period of three months from the date of your joining.3. Your employment in the company would automatically come to an end on the expiry of the said period of three months. The company is under no obligation to issue a formal order of termination or to give a prior notice in this behalf. No compensation is payable in termination of your service. Or can we just extend it to confirmed employees. The reason is if the person resigns during probation then it will be a lot of administrative work. What will happen to his PF contribution then? caus i heard there is 5 year's restriction on withdrawal from the date of becoming a member. What our organisation is suppose to do in this case?In short1. Will there be a violation of PF Act if i extend PF benefit only to confirmed employees.2. How to go about the PF contribution of person who serves you for only one month.3. Is there anything we have to pay besides 12% i.e. equal to employees contribution what is this administrative charge etc. What will be my accounting entry in this case.Sir Please answer me caus I could not get any of this from web site of PF.PleaseThank youPari.
