Hi I am Marita Ephraim, and am doing research on employee engagement and would like to hear all your views. According to my research , I found out that in many of the companies employee engagement strategy is not a part of the business plan because there is no output or productivity, due to this they do not spend time in making clear employee engagement strategy. However many companies these days do understand the importance of employee engagement but still do not put the extra effort in getting feedback and improving the system or meeting the needs of the employees in a better way. What can be done to help the organization understand the correlation between employee engagement and Accountability, responsibility, and curbing turnover?

Well rightly said. These days many organisations are not concentrating on their employees satisfaction. Most of the employees of an organisation will have more productivity when the organisation looks after their employees engagement . this helps the organization to understand the needs of the employees as well as a better work environment. And which in turn reduces the turnover of employees and will have a better progress in achieving the organisational goals .also it is neccessary to invest in engagement of an employee who is already trained and in production is at best it is worth to retain the employee by keeping them enageged apart from their business as usuals.

Well it's not true that there is no productivity or output, a simple recognition of a persons work can boots his/her morale. But its true that lots of companies do not spend effort in boosting the Employment Engagement Strategy.
The only way I think this is possible is the organisation and its management need to take seriously is that the employees need to feel that their organisation is genuinely interested in them.

Hi,

Most of the organisations now paying attention to employee engagement .The employees that organisations want & who will stay with oraganisations are those who are engaged .

Nowadays younger generations are no longer willing to do job in a same oraganisation for a long time so here employee engagement plays very important role as highly engaged employees are motivated and also enjoy their work and employee engagement can keep employees loyalty high.
creating good organisation culture is very crucial so that an employee can feel like he/She is a important part of the oraganisation and also accountable for his /her action. Creating the engaged organisation requires a systematic approach and it is also important to show that organisation care about their employees.

Employee engagement drives growth as employees not only want to have clear understanding of what employer is expecting from them however they also want to know the company's vision and direction so that employee can also understand how they can contribute to achieve individual as well as organisational goals and it will increase their accountability as well.
