If you have contact details of the HR person, you can directly contact them.. There is no harm to ask for the status once you are shortlisted...

Dear All,
they also need to verify your certificates like 10th 12th and graduation, from 3rd party which may takes some time and depends on 3rd party, how fast they are completing their tasks, so you can wait for 1 month,

I m also facing same issue with hdfc bank. I got selected in an interview. After a week i got salary break up. I have accepted the offer over a mail. Then i have uploaded all the documents in hdfc portal. 2 people from hdfc came for house verification at my place. I have also filled the form and submitted to them. After that they asked me to give data confirmation mail that all the data i have submitted in portal is correct.
Now after 20 days , they didn't replied any update to me. Hence i dropped a mail to hr , they told it will take another week. Still i have not received any feedback from them.
What is it mean? I should wait or look for other opportunities?
I really wanted to join hdfc. Please suggest.
