Hi ,
I m a High school teacher in an unaided English school in maharashtra, I m getting Rs. 5800 salary, but confused about why the schools are not giving us the 6th pay scale, though the GR had been already given to all the schools?
How much Salary I should get according to new GR?
Thanks.

6th pay commission is for government employees and teaches of govt. aided schools and it has nothing to do with unaided schools. The salaries of the unaided schools are fixed by the respective management and are paid out of their own funds raised from tuition fees and other collections. However, there are some guidelines issued by the respective state government that inorder to get no objection certificate from the government to start an unaided school, the teachers should be paid salary at par with government/ aided school teachers and that too through bank. Some good institutions follow the directions but some others manipulate and steel the show, that's all. For better understanding you have to verify the GO in detail.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply,
what could be done for the institutions those who are steeling the show. Because its the matter of bread and butter of many people all over the country and im very much disappointed with salaries they pay to teachers. Also you said that guideliness had been given to the unaided schools. I want to do something about this, how i can do it for the teachers of unaided school? Is there any legal way or procedure? Please do reply.
Thanks.
