Hi ms.george,
Be confident, maybe write down in a piece of paper what do you think has been your 5 top achievements in your 2 + years experience, and why do you think this experience will help you as a HR GEneralists.
it more important to be sure of what you are speaking and if you are confident and energetic and willing to learn , a lot of things are actually overlooked.
Best wishes and Good Luck!

Dear Ms. George,
You have 2+ experience then why you are so nervous. Just go for interview with attitude you are not caring about that job. Then you get more confidence.
Try it ............ It works ......................

Hi
Its ok to be nervous. Don't let that come in the way of your performance.
Remember all your achievements, that will give you confidence.
Go for the interview with the assumption that you will get selected.
Focus on the issue about how you can bring value to the organisation you are going into.
Thats what you need to convey to the interviewer.
All the Best

@ Ms. George.. I as an employer would look as how best suited you are to the job so I would not want someone with an attitude which does not suit the position i am looking to fill... If i find that some one comes across as not caring about the job i will for sure overlook that person without even looking at the experience...

It would be better if you keep in mind these points:

1) you are yourself from the get go. Confident as a person. The initial nervousness is usually over looked by most of the hiring panels. If you prepare an introductory strategy it would help you to get by during the nervous period.

2) You need to identify how you can benefit the company and list out your strong points which highlight your knowledge in the field.

3) Unless asked to elaborate your answers should be concise, confident, and get the message across with no room for mis understandings.

4) Full attention should be given even if it seems like the panel is just rambling you will never know if it is a test.

5) Most important point is that you need to relax. Make sure you are groomed, presentable in your dressing and use just enough deodorant to be pleasant.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck

HI George....
As all are expressing the same thing that You are already having 2 yrs of experience in HR. So, like this the interviewer will be expecting more from you. So, 1st thing you figure out, "what knowledge have you gained so far?". Interviewer will try to find out what were your resposibilities (contribution for HR function), achievements, your aim & seriousness about career in HR. Also, industry knowledge is must. So, try to google about the sector or industry you are going to apply & the HR function related to same. Because it varies with Industry.
I hope it would suffice your query.
All the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
