Sir(s),
There are no such exemption provisions under ESI Act, 1948 vide which any employee can be granted exemption for any particular month.
ESI wage limit is at present upto and including Rs. 15000/- per month.

In contribution period i.e. April-Sept. and Oct. to Mar. ESI deduction can not be changed, you have to deduct ESI up to Sept. Month, in this particular case.

Dear MBsamni,
Once you register under the ESIC then you can't get out from it including even though if you dont have eligible staffs for ESIC. in that case, you have submitts the NIL returns to authority.
Secondly, revision of salary, should not effect the period of contribution, any revision should be make effective post end of respective contribution period only.
