The important things in LIFE::::::

The Important Things in Life

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.

You never know who these people may be - a roommate, a neighbour, a professor, a friend, a loved one, or even a complete stranger - but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way.

Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realised your potential, strength, willpower or heart.

Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved straight flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are sometimes the most important ones.

If someone loves you, give love back to them in whatever way you can, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.

If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and listen to what they have to say.

Allow yourself to be happy because you have every right to. Remind yourself always that you are the blessed child of SAI, and believe in yourself because unless you believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you.

You can make anything you wish of your life. Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.

And if you love someone tell them, for you never know what tomorrow may have in store.

Learn a lesson in life each day that you live!

Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday.

Think About it? Was it worth it?

Hi all,

Here is one more inspiration......

Quote::::

A 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud man, who is fully

dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with his hair fashionably

coifed and shaved perfectly applied, even though he is legally

blind, moved to a nursing home today.

His wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move

necessary.

After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing

home, he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready. As he

maneuvered his walker to the elevator, I provided a visual

description of his tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had

been hung on his window. "I love it," he stated with the enthusiasm

of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.

Mr. Jones, you haven't seen the room; just wait."

That doesn't have anything to do with it," he replied. Happiness

is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or

not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged ... it's how I

arrange my mind. I already decided to love it "It's a decision I

make every morning when I wake up.

I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the

difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or

get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.

Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I'll focus on

the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away. Just for

this time in my life. Old age is like a bank account. You withdraw

from what you've put in. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a

lot of happiness in the bank account of memories!.

Thank you for your part in filling my Memory bank. I am still

depositing."

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred.

2. Free your mind from worries.

3. Live simply.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less.

Hi Dr Ji,

Inspiring once again.

Quote:::::::

A very nice and inspiring article :

Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or "Why did God

have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful explanation! A daughter is

telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra,

her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.

Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she

would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely Mom, I love your

cake."

"Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers. "Yuck" says her

daughter.

"How about a couple raw eggs?" "Gross, Mom!"

"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?" "Mom, those are

all yucky!"

To which the mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem bad all by

themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a

wonderfully delicious cake!

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go

through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts

these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have

to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise

every morning.

Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the

universe, and He chose your heart.
