Dear Friends,
I have a typical situation and I am lost how to handle this. We have an employee who is good in his work. But we doubt that he is passing on the information to his friends who is working for competition and some who has started their own business.
We don't want to loose him as an employee but at the same time want to make it clear to him that we are aware of his actions and if need be strict action will be taken.
This will also be a message to other employees to act in accordance.
Can anyone plzzzz help me handling this situation???

Hi Rajul,
Don't go wit ur assumptions, the other way, challenge your assumption. If u suspect him as the culprit/if u want to really save him, do discuss with him one-on-one abt the issue, and if ur assumption founds to be true, thn counsel him.
Be Assertive...

Prepare a formal policy & Make everyone to sign a confidentiality contract according to which no on is allowed to passout the internal information by any means(written, mail, photocopy etc) & any one who is found to do so, would punished legally & can lead to his termination also.
By this you will indirectly address the issue & wil also pas on a message to others also.

Thanks Guys,
Confidentiality Contract is in place. But if I do one-to-one discussion he is definately not going to agree on it. BUt maybe he will get a hint and stop it...I will try that.
Thanks once again.
