Hemant Kulkarni
My previous company told me to resign and relieved me on same day. They have not cleared my full and final settlement still for more than 9 months. There were 64 balance leaves. They are hesitating to pay one month's basic salary of notice period and the amount of 64 leaves. I am in another state far away. I am following up on telephone as well as on mails. But there is no response. My dues are more than 1.25 lacs.
What next action shall I take? How can I proceed? Is it mandatory by law that the company has to pay me the dues of 64 leaves as well as one month's basic salary?
In my appointment letter the clause for 1 month's basic salary is mentioned.
Please guide me.

Since you worked in Surat, you are governed by Bombay shops and establishment Act. Make a complaint to inspector under the Act for non payment of dues. Enclose all correspondences made by you with the employer.
Thanks
