Hi Bharath,
Iam sorry, but was not able to understand your question. Does your question mean:
1. What are the different ways of utilizing the recruitment data? i.e the different ways of making use of the C.Vs
2. How to make the best use of the recruitment data? i.e to identify the best fit
Does it mean any of the above questions or does it have some other meaning?

Dear Bharat,
In my opinion I don't find that having the recuritment data will add any value to the company because for two reasons,
1. the profile becomes outdated.
2. for some reasons you would have rejected it earlier.
But you can use these data to analyze the best source for sourcing cv's i.e how do people reach you whether by consultants, walk-ins, job-portals, reference checks etc.

Hi,
My basic intention was to challenge the claim most of the people have in their minds that recruitment is very job.
The kind of market information we get can be of immense use to the organisation. How can we structure these datas and present to the mgmt and make them feel recruitment is the KEY factor.
Business intelligence is the key.
Regarding sourcing, sourcing trends, the ctc details, company info, project info, skillsets.. thats our strength.. hw can we materialise these data?
Thanks,
Bharath

Hi,
The data can be used in a lot many ways other than finding the right person at the right time.
1. You could infer the CTC or the salary details for a particular skill / experience level.
2. It is also very handy when you are preparing Job Specification or on you way of Job Analysis.
3. You could make use of the e-mail ids if you want to have a survey and looking for lots of ids.
This is what I could think of, shall post if I come across some more.

Hi Soumya,
Thanks for the input. I'm into the data analysis. I'm already into the CTC Analysis. Also, things like company database ( target companies), people strength, contacts, location wise skill mapping, notice period datas for different companies..
We can add in any more apart from the above mentioned.
Thanks,
Bharath
