Hi seniors
My cousin has got an appointment letter from an MNC signed by their HR personal named ABC. later he came to know that the name of that HR in his ID proof is XYZ and ABC is his born again name which he doesn\'t has a gazetted verification yet.so in this case is his appointment letter valid? if not valid, can he ask for another appointment letter with his original name in it? if they don\'t issue a new one can he raise a legal issue in this regard? what will be the consequence?
Thanks & regards

Hi
Since your cousin is working there, why you have to get into all this. Its very simple, if the company recognise that HR person as ABC, its well and good and there shouldnt be any second thoughts. But if its not, you can always checkout in the name of XYZ at the time resigning and while getting an relieving letter.
Seriously its a very tricky one and i never heard of it. But the name of the person who signs the letter doesnt create any impact. Leave it as it is if this is not going to harm anyone.

Hello Tulip,
Sorry but why needs to create this issue? Don't create much of issue at time of joining without any prior reason.
If present employer does not mind with the same than even employee will not face any problem in future.

Its a very strange case.
ABC is the HR of a company and he signs his name as ABC.
Yet you say is real name is XYZ.
How do you know all this ?
A person may have several aliases.
But if he is well known and recognized as ABC, under which he is working as an HR; so obviously all his educational certificates etc. must be carrying this name. So there is nothing irregular about it.
Or, are you implying that the person who is actually XYZ, is someone impersonating or masqerading as ABC ???
If it is just a whiff of imagination, it might be a plot for a good thriller !!!
If it is true, it is sensational.
Warm regards.

So long as the company is not fake and the employee who has signed it is not a fake, why you need to worry ? First and foremost, how you got to know so many things as soon as you joined.... You focus on your job ....other things you mentioned are in no way relevant to your responsibilities, I feel.
