PF & ESI Procedure - Esic Registration

deep_1908 Started The Discussion:

Hello everybody,
Greetings for the day!!!!!!!!!

Below are my few queries and I would be really thankful if you all can help me.
1) My company is a startup in construction field, so kindly help me with the procedure for PF and ESI .i.e what are the formalities that we need to cover to get a PF & ESI account and how many employees do we need to hire to start PF and ESI deductions. Also if at all there are any other criterias involved in it.
2) Is there any criteria in PF where an employee can get way off on the basis of minimum wage act?
3) If we start the PF deduction with minimum nos. of employees required for the same but could not retain it further, so do we have to still maintain the PF account or we can stop that then and there.

Regards,
Sachin Singh

Dear Sachin,

Minimum 20 Employees need to be there for PF and Minimum 10 Employees need for ESIC Registration.

To get registration you need to fill the Registration form and enclose Shop & Estt. Registration Certificate, Company address prof, MOA, Company Bank Statement, Corporation License.

If license is taken and later onwards employees reduced, then also you need to continue with PF remittance process.

for any clarification you can call me 09204959753

Best Regards
Praveen

First your company to be covered under the EPF ACT & ESI ACT if no of employees 20(if not using power) if using power 10 in ESI. You have to get PROFORMA FOR PF & related documents
to be attached. For ESI to fill up FORM01 & necessary documents to be enclosed.
Those who are drawing less than Rs.15000(gross) 20/10 to be covered
In EPF, Basic salary is up to 6500 is eligible
